I can state wholeheartedly, with the upmost of conviction, that Kin Canada has benefited my life in a myriad of positive fashions. Kin Canada has complimented my career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, bestowing early upon me the required competencies and life experiences that accelerated my rise to the officer cadre. Experience in a volunteer assoication such as Kin Canada will clearly advantage your career opportunities and more importantly, permit you to fulfill your goal to making a difference – for Canadians and your community. – Doug Anthony, Orleans, Ontario HR Strategy & Performance Management, RCMP Kin, I thank you for supporting the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for the past 42 years, and I encourage you to continue to stand by our side in the fight. Your efforts make a difference! Your investment in people like me is a good one, I promise you. You've helped us to remain productive members of society. – James Tapankov, Barrhead, Alberta Chair of the CCFF's Adult CF Committee To me, Kin is family; the way we come together when the need arises. The forest fires in the west, the floods in Manitoba, the ice storms in Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada, the response by members and clubs during the 9/11 crisis, not to mention our unwavering support for cystic fibrosis are just a few examples. However, not only do we come together to assist large groups or disasters, it is the smaller things that we do that makes us a true Kin family. When a personal tragedy struck my life and the life of my family, the support Kin members showed from across Canada was overwhelming. For this I will be forever grateful to Kin. So what does the Kin family mean to me? Everything! – Pat King, Miramichi, New Brunswick Member since 1995 I grew up a Kin Kid. For 41 years our Kin clubs have given tirelessly in an effort to produce exciting, informative, and financially profitable events to honour the friendship and commitment to our partners, our friends, our family, and those with CF. Thank you Kin Canada for continuing to make me proud to be part of this mission. It has opened so many doors for me that I never want to shut. We are 'Together for Life.' – Heather Thompson, Thunder Bay, Ontario Member since 1997
